Your Very Best

I had the privilege of hearing Bo Eason speak last night and tell his story. One of biggest takeaways I got was to be generous. Generous with your effort in anything you commit to. Generous with the love you give to yourself. Generous with your time, and generous with your presence with anyone around you. He spoke of his teammate Jerry Rice and how he was so generous with the care he put into catching a football, and that translated into everything he did in his life. He gives all of himself—all the time. That’s something you too can do.

I realized there’s a whole new level of our very best we can give. The gift is in the depth. It is only when we dig deep beyond what’s comfortable that we can inspire others. No one was ever inspiring giving excuses…or fun to be around.

You want to feel good and have an impact in this world? Increase your success and have abundance flow? Be your best. Push yourself each day and your best will grow.

I challenge you to watch this video and give more of yourself than you ever have. Be kind to people, be true to your word and follow-through. Be an example of what’s possible. The football player was inspirational because he didn’t give up when it burned…when he felt resistance. I want that for you too. For you to have everything you could ever dream of. So take a look at those goals you may have written down here and Keep Going! Even if you’ve forgotten about them already, it’s never too late to get back up.

Happy New Year! Welcome to the first day of 2013.

Most of us completely underestimate how much we can accomplish in a years time. In order to make sure you make the most out of this year, I wanted to share a few questions that I use in the New Year to set myself up for the next 12 months.

Did you make a resolution leading up to the New Year? If you did, Great. Did you wake up this morning still excited about it, or did you already write it off as a drunken mistake that you’ll tackle another time/another year? If you haven’t yet thought of something you would like to change this year, is there anything you want to accomplish? Someone you envision being? Was there an area last year that caused you stress or tension? In relationships, health, in your family life, with your finances/career? Do you know what has been holding you back in this area?

Wellness or heart-attack?

Just because this place is named Heart Attack Grill doesn’t mean you can’t get a heart attack by choosing certain foods at any restaurant that do kill. The good news is we always have a choice.

Just the first 20 seconds of this video makes me need water and a green juice ASAP! In fact, I found myself pausing the video just to have some alkaline water. Why is it we wait for extremes to think it’s crazy what we put into our bodies? This is the case in all areas of our life. Isn’t it true, sometimes we feel better about ourselves or our habits because someone is doing something even worse? In some ways, this so-called “doctor” is correct that he is running the only honest restaurant. Except, remember almost all animal products and processed and fried foods are artery clogging. Is something really enjoyable if you feel terrible afterwards? And in this case, have to be rolled out of the restaurant?

Leaders go first. Are you a leader? Why is it this reporter feels like a bigger man for eating a quad burger? I feel like a bigger person by honoring my body. ‎
